Granted, everyone wants to save time and money.

Try comparing the experience of eating at a fast food joint with a five-course meal at an upscale restaurant with an attentive staff. There is no comparison. You’re served food from a limited menu in a plastic box through a drive-up window … or your specific requests are honored and treated with courtesy and served with a white linen napkin. The majority of the population understands the difference in value and can compare that difference in the quality of service—you know, the “you get what you pay for” notion.
You’ve worked hard to make a living and take care of your family—in life—and hopefully—in death. Your family and loved ones deserve the five-star restaurant route … not merely fast food. You have one shot at a well-designed estate plan. If you fail to prepare, you prepare to fail (as my father always used to say). You’ll never know—but your family will and probably all too painfully, and costly. You don’t want to put your family or loved ones in a bind financially or emotionally your family or loved ones by not preparing properly now.
